    Anise Star comes from the magnolia family and has a beautiful and distinct star shape. It is a main ingredient in Chinese five spice powder.

    Arrowroot powder is a great clear thickening agent, so that is why it is commonly used in the glaze for tops of pies.

    Balsamic Vinegar Powder is used to add a tart and slightly sweet flavor to seasonings, rubs, marinades, barbecue sauces, salad dressings, and dry mixes. This dark tan powder holds that same bitter, full flavor of the vinegar itself.

    Beef Base Granules contain natural flavorings with no starch fillers. The granules dissolve easily and can be used in many applications: Au Jus gravy, Bouillon, Gravies, Sauces, Stock Pot, and Hamburgers. Also use as a seasoning for vegetables, frozen entrees, rice, noodles, and beans.

    Citric acid is used in everything from soft drinks to desserts for its sour taste. It also controls the acidity of many dishes and keeps some fruits from darkening.

    A blend of hot red peppers and black pepper that will likely knock your socks off. This blend is spicy-hot. This blend is best utilized by sprinkling on your favorite dishes like pizza, macaroni & cheese, and soup. Use with caution!

    This spice can be used with meats (especially game meats), sauerkraut, and potatoes.

    Lemon peel comes from the outer yellow layer of lemon. Lemon peel itself is slightly sweet and fruity and smells of lemon. But the white layer underneath is bitter, so lemon peel does contain a little of that bitterness also. Try using in cakes for desserts. Also use in fish or meat stews.

    Our Malt Vinegar Powder is a convenient dry form of malt vinegar and works great as a replacement for liquid vinegar in many recipes.

    Molasses granules are  a popular alternative to table sugar because is is believed to be more natural since it is minimally processed and maintains many of the natural vitamins and minerals found in sugar cane.

    MSG is short for monosodium glutamate. It is naturally found in seaweed, some cereals, and sugar beets. It is used to intensify the flavors in savory dishes.

    Paprika has a sweet, warm taste. A red capsicum pepper, which has been washed, dried, crushed, and heated to release the oil in the seeds, interacts with the pigment in the pods to produce the bright red color. Our domestic paprika is the most affordable substitute for Hungarian Paprika.

    Spanish Smoked Sweet Paprika is a great ingredient for Mediterranean recipes. It's flavor is essential for authentic Spanish cooking.  It has a sweet, cool, smoky flavor and is popular for foods such as fish dishes, stews or bean dishes.

    Porcini mushrooms have a sharp, woody flavor and have a pale brown color. They will add delicious flavor to your stews and soups. Our porcinis are from Italy.

    Potassium Sorbate is a preservative that is the potassium salt of sorbic acid. It is highly soluble in water and can be used for spraying and dipping. It effective reduces yeast and molds and is typically seen in margarine, cheese, bread, dry sausage, and beverages.

    Use Culinox 999 Salt anywhere you need a high purity sodium chloride. This salt is a high purity , food grade salt granulated sodium chloride.

    Sodium Benzoate is a preservative that is the sodium salt of benzoic acid. It is soluble in water and works against yeast and bacteria. It is commonly used acidic foods such as jams, relishes, beverages, and fruit juices.
  • Sodium tri-polyphosphate is a chemical that is commonly used as a food preservative and as an ingredient in cleaning products. In foods, it is used to help retain moisture. It works great as a preservative for seafood, meats, poultry and pet foods.

    Our soy sauce powder will add the flavor of soy sauce with just a shake or two. You can mix our powder with water to create fresh soy sauce. It also works great in adding soy sauce flavor in dry seasonings, meat dishes, poultry dishes, marinades and snacks.

    This spice gives you that great fresh flavor found in so many Thai dishes. Spicy hot with a fresh lime contrast, Thai Spice can be used in coconut milk curries (both red and green) for developing a wonderful Thai taste.
