Bulk Pizza Spice
Pizza Sauce Preparation
- Add 1 packet (9.5 oz.) seasoning to one #10 can (6 lbs. 15 oz.) tomato paste.
- Add 5 quarts water and mix well.
Here is a fantastic pizza recipe that works great with our pizza spice:
Broccoli Rabe and Sausage Pizza
- 1 bunch broccoli rabe cleaned
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 3 cloves garlic, sliced thinly
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes
- 8oz. Fresh Mozzarella, torn or diced
- ¼ cup parmesan, grated or shredded
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Pizza dough
Boil broccoli rabe for 2-3 minutes, run under cold water to cool then coarsely chop. Remove sausage from casing, crumble with your hands and saute for 2-3 minutes or until no longer pink. Add garlic and cook until garlic is golden. Remove from heat stir in broccoli rabe and season with red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Spread Nome St Pizza Sauce on pizza dough as desired. Top with broccoli rabe and sausage mixture. Sprinkle with cheeses and bake according to dough instructions.
