Chopped Garbanzo Bean and Vegetable Salad

This salad is a light delicious meal and will leave you feeling satisfied but not overly full.

Chopped Garbanzo Bean & Vegetable SaladIngredients
10 oz fresh leafy romaine lettuce
2 – 3 tbsp red bell pepper flakes from myspicer
2 – 3 tbsp black pepper from myspicer
1/4 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese
A spoonful of garlic powder from myspicer (added to taste)
1 large carrot chopped
1 celery stalk chopped
1/4 cup english cucumber chopped
1/4 cup chopped black olives
1/4 cup garbanzo beans
2 tbsp sunflower seeds or cashews
Ranch dressing to desired taste

Directions
Chop or tear romaine lettuce into very small pieces.  (Placing into a bowl and chopping with a wooden spoon works well.)
Mix in all spices: bell pepper flakes, black pepper and garlic powder until fully coated adding to taste preference.
Mix in all other ingredients: carrots, cucumber, celery, black olives, garbanzo beans and sunflower seeds.  Chop and mix with two wooden spoons in a bowl.
Add ranch dressing and mix and chop until everything is fully coated.
Pour into a large bowl and serve cold.
