Corn Starch comes from the corn kernel. It is a silky powder that thickens sauces, gravies, and puddings. Using it will make the liquid clear, unlike using flour that makes the liquid opaque. To use, add to cold water first and then add to heat. It doesn't stand up to heating and freezing for prolonged periods of time.

It is used frequently due to its great thickening ability and for its great stabilizer ability to hold ingredients together (such as keeping cake from being crumbly). And for the kids: it makes great slime just mixing a little with water!!!

Crystalized Lemon Granules are a great pantry staple. This zesty granule brings a strong lemon flavor to any spice rub you may be creating. Just 1/8th of a teaspoon is the equivalent of one wedge of lemon. This product can also be sprinkled into cocktails, baked goods, or just add to water for a refreshing beverage.

Potato Starch is starch that has been extracted from potatoes and turned into a fine, powdered form. This starch is used as a thickener for sauces, soups, stews, gravies and other similar recipes. It has similar thickening properties to cornstarch but the advantage of potato starch is that it can handle higher temperatures than cornstarch.
